Grease is the word...

Mason had his 2nd grade program last night and the theme was Broadway! He was chosen to be one of 4 t-birds from the movie Grease!! OMG he was AWESOME!! I have never seen my child move the way he did. Shaking his little hips and taping his foot, he seriously got into it and I loved watching every minute of it!! I was hoping to get to post some video of him but alas I have had no luck in my attempt :(  But here are some pics of my cool dude in his dancing debut!

Roughing it suburbia style

For the past 3 years our sweet friends the Fisher's have hosted a November camp out. They live on a great piece of land that is perfect for popping up tents, lighting a giant fire, letting the kids run crazy and just hanging out in general. This years camp out differed from the last two in that we didn't actually get to camp b/c mother nature decided to rain on our parade (quite literally) but in true fashion for our group of friends we still had the party!!  :)

PreK-4 Field trip Bayou Wildlife Park

This is the second year in a row Samantha's class has made the trek to Bayou Wildlife Park for a field trip and the she absolutely LOVES it!! The kids get the biggest kick out of being so up close and personal with the animals. I on the other hand become a hand sanitizer crazy person!! Lets face it, some of those animals are just nasty!! LOL!
